I’ve visited the carvings of Khajuraho, the grandeur of the Ganges, the temples of Angkor Wat, the rice paddies of Chang Rai, the Golden Horn, the Huangpu down the Bund, and the Four Quarters of the Old City…a gap year of celebration and backpacking came to an end with a new beginning…new worlds to explore…all beginning now…
I’ve just returned to begin the next stage in my professional, educational and spiritual career. I am simultaneously a candidate for a graduate degree, have a full time position in the fashion industry, and take regular disciplined yoga and ballet classes. For relaxation I play a piano wedged into my cozy apartment at a time when I hope the neighbors are away! I love modern dance, contemporary art, jazz, and red wine.
My legs are long, my stomach is tight, and the memory long lasting…that is but a wafer, a sliver of Valerie Lerox.
